Monday January 28, 2013-Retama Village

Here are a couple of sunset pictures taken from our site here at the Retama Village. This one is the setting sun with the palm trees in the foreground.

The second photo is the rising moon over the prairie behind our place. 

Today was the first of four events here in the valley. We had a Meet and Greet at the Retama Village rec hall, as we have done for the last four years, and as usual, the facility is FIRST CLASS!

We had a good turnout with 35 people, and had plenty of good food. I think everyone had a good time and I know we did.

We have a dealer open house scheduled with the Ron Hoover RV store in Donna, a meet and greet (walkabout) in Mexico on Friday morning and a breakfast buffet meet and greet at Furr's Fresh Buffet in McAllen Saturday morning. It is going to be a busy week, but we're having fun and that's what it's all about!
