We slept later this morning because we don't have far to go today. We still pulled out about 9:30 and were soon on the highway and making good time. Most of today's trip was on a freeway and with little traffic, we zipped right along. We stopped in Ozark MO at the Wal Mart for a stretch our legs and pit stop combined. There was SO much traffic in the parking lot, but I did get a chance to cap a couple of Munzees before we left.
We got to the ABC park (America's Best Campground) about 1:30 and were soon checked in and getting set up. The last thing I do is set up the satellite dish because I can take a break after that last chore. I fooled with the dish and had a hard time getting it to lock in. I finally checked the wiring connections and found that the power cord to the antenna had broken. My friend Jon came over and we got it soldered and now it works! Thank goodness...tonight is NCIS night and the start of the new season.
Several people are going out to eat tonight, but we were just too tired. We've been driving a long way, so we begged off. We'll go with them tomorrow. I went out later in the evening and sat outside with Roy and Sally, Ron and Ann, Bette and later Bernie. We had a nice chat before the chilly night sent us inside. A very nice way to start the rally.
So long.

ys, very nice here during day but does get chilly at night...my brother also made a bee line for tv last night after our horrible dinner to watch ncis
Jay, if you ever see your way clear, a Winegard Travler automatic satellite antenna will make your RVing life complete. It is easily my most prized addition to our coach.
