Saturday, November 27, 2010-Rayford Crossing RV Resort

Here are Santa and Mrs. Claus waiting to go to the rally hall to meet a lot of children to listen to their wishes for Christmas. We had a really nice time this afternoon and will likely do it again next year.

We went to eat breakfast tacos this morning in the Rayford room. Billy went out early this morning and picked them up and brought them back for everyone to eat. It's a shame that someone called the health department about the breakfasts that we were cooking here, but it's fun to have tacos.

After Santa came, we went back to the hall for a white elephant gift exchange. I got a 6 pack cooler and Stella picked one of the gifts that we had brought, some New Canaan Farms salsa that is delicious. We were glad to get the gifts that we ended up with. Billy made some Christmas punch using cranberry juice and bourbon that was really good. I had a couple of glasses and was glad I didn't have to drive home. Our friend Debbie had made a huge assortment of jello shots, and I tried one of them. It was really good because she didn't use a lot of liquor in each shot.

When we got back home, Mike and Patrice wanted to go out to eat Chinese tonight, so after a short time in the trailer, we went to the 88 Buffet for supper. Mike and Patrice are leaving tomorrow, so this was their farewell dinner, but I know we'll see them again soon.

When we got finished eating, we returned home. I had thought about having a campfire, but I guess those drinks were getting to me and I was really drowsy. I watched a little television and turned in before nine. I guess that proves that my party days are just about over!

So long.

Stella makes a BEAUTIFUL Mrs. Claus. Can't tell too much about Santa with that beard. Glad you had such a fun day.

You should do like I did and start in the spring and you will have your own white beard, and not have to wear that fake one. Be safe out there, Sam & Donna.

What a GREAT picture! Stella is a perfect Mrs. Claus, and Santa is just about perfect, too!
