Friday January 18, 2013-Retama Village

We went over to the Bentsen Palms RV Park to meet Ted and Donna and to go to a concert by The Redhead Express.  This is a family singing group that we have seen before and liked, so we came back.

 This is most of the family, Mom, Dad, the four girls and one son. The other two sons don't play with the rest of the family yet, but they are very good too. I guess the talent runs in the family.

Here are the four girls, Kendra (guitar), LaRae (banjo), Alisa (bass fiddle) and Meghan (violin). Kendra is the lead singer and writes a lot of their stuff.  

The three boys perform as The Walker Boys. They do a good job and are very entertaining.

After the concert, we went over to Ted and Donna's trailer to catch up with our friends. We had a nice visit with them before coming back home-right next door- to care for our fur kids. We look forward to many more good times down here.
