Friday June 10, 2011-Bear Run Campground

When we arrived, this sign is the first thing that we saw as we drove in. Although the park is not one of our favorites, the staff is wonderful and very helpful.

There is a well-stocked store with items that campers might need. We didn't need anything from the store, but it's nice to have it available.

There are a lot of trophies and knick knacks on the porch and in the office, including this huge bear. I hope its not lifesize for the bears in the area!

This is just one row of the Heartland trailers for this weekend's rally. I didn't take a count, but there were about 20 rigs total when everyone arrived.

We had a nice campfire get-together at night that included some pina coladas that were very tasty. I'll have to remember this for our next rally!

We have had a very nice time with the Pennsylvania folks at their rally. We have visited with several of them who are interested in our full time lifestyle and Stella did an impromptu tour of our trailer for some of the ladies. We have enjoyed this trip, even though it was further than I thought to get here from Elkhart but that was my bad... I just didn't think it was this far when I looked at a map when I signed us up for this rally. I guess I'll check better next time.
