Friday June 3, 2011-Moving Day-Red Roof Inn to Elkhart Campground

Here we were, camped out in front of the Red Roof Inn before we took the trailer in to the shop to be worked on.

Here we are, back at the Elkhart Campground. Our friends JD and CJ are parked right next to us and there are two other Bighorns nearby.

When we woke this morning it was raining and cold! Actually the temperature was about 60 degrees but with the rain it felt cold. After the rain let up I walked down to the McDonalds at the end of the block and picked up some breakfast for us and brought it back to the room. I called Jim Fenner about our trailer but he was out of the office. I got antsy and we drove over to the shop where our work had been done and they were just finishing up some final touch-up work. We waited for them to get through and talked to our new friends John and Shirley who had come over to check on their coach.

After picking our trailer up we went back to the motel and got our stuff out of the room and came back over to the Elkhart Campground. We are so glad to be back in our trailer and comfortable again.

The weather is still very nice. It is cool and cloudy this afternoon and we just opened the windows and let the cool breezes in. I can't believe the way the weather has been since we left Tyler. We haven't run the air conditioner at all.I hope this continues all summer long!
