The weather was cool yesterday when we got here, so we opened the windows and slept all night with them open. It wasn't as cool as it has been the last few days but it was very pleasant. I still can't believe this weather!
Stella made us some breakfast and just as she got through and was getting it ready to serve, I got a call from CJ inviting us to go out for breakfast with them. Of course, we passed but did make arrangements to go over to the fairgrounds where a few Heartland owners are already there for the rally.
After we all finished eating breakfast we went to the fairgrounds and found two Bighorns there. We spoke with the owners and had a nice chat with them. On the way over, we stopped at a furniture store and CJ found a desk that she liked but decided not to buy it right now. We returned home and later went to the RV Surplus stores to look for some furniture but they were closed. I guess we all forgot it was Saturday and many businesses close early. Stella and I went to Wal Mart, one of my least favorite stores any more, and bought some groceries. We haven't been to the store in a long time, so we were getting low on a lot of items.
We returned home and the skies clouded up and we heard thunder but it never actually rained. I took some trash out and felt a few drops but nothing else happened. I know the folks back in Texas need the rain but everything here is green and very nice.
It was a pretty slow day around here but I'm sure it will pick up later as we get ready for the Pennsylvania rally and of course the bit Heartland rally next week.
So long.
